The Sara Carreira Association was created to honour the generous way of life of Sara Carreira, an inspiring young woman who dedicated her life to music and to loving others, caring for the elderly and the disadvantaged, and showing affection for animals.

Sara Carreira grew up in an artistic environment, pursued a career as a singer and performed on several renowned stages such as the Olympia, the iconic venue in France, and the Altice Arena, the largest concert hall in Portugal. She remains ever-present through the inspiring mission of the Association created in her name.

The Gala of Dreams is a show created from the dreams Sara did not have time to fulfil, promoted by the Sara Carreira Association, produced by Fremantle with the support of TVI.

Be part of this night where dreams meet the future, with spectacular performances and many surprises. The Gala will be hosted by presenter and Association Ambassador Manuel Luís Goucha, and will bring together on the stage of all dreams renowned national artists and Sara’s family: Tony, Mickael and David Carreira. On this magical evening we will also welcome our Patrons: TVI, Missão Continente, Santander Foundation, Grupo DS and Cap Sud, as well as Partners, Ambassadors and Friends who wish to continue Sara’s generous way of life by supporting young people committed to a dream but financially disadvantaged.
