Sara Carreira, born on 21 October 1999 in Dourdan, France, is one of Portugal’s most emblematic young artists.
Sara breathes music since she was born. She grows seeing her father’s talent be confirmed and her brother’s dreams come true. In perfect harmony with the music, a career in music was almost inevitable. And it was in this atmosphere that little Sara was already preparing for the accomplishment of her deepest wishes.
At 21, Sara is already outlining the path she wants to walk and faces the future trusting that she will have an artistic career. She went on stage in Portugal’s largest venue, Altice Arena, and France’s largest venue, the Olympia, in Paris, multiple times over the years.
‘Para não Chorar’ featuring Nuno Ribeiro is Sara Carreira’s second single. It is part of her first EP, released on 22 November 2019: Metade. This EP was among FNAC’s top sales in December. Metade includes songs like Vou Ficar”, “Para não Chorar” feat Nuno Ribeiro, “Sentimento”, “As Nossas Conversas”, “Penso em nós”, “Já Tou High” feat Rogg, “Gosto de ti” feat David Carreira, and “A nossa metade”.
Sara Carreira is a multi-talented artist. In 2020, she participated in the “Masked Singer”, where she conquered the audience with the unforgettable Panther. In that same year, Sara Carreira takes a risk and flies higher: she creates the brand “Éssê by Sara Carreira” and is once more applauded by those who admire her.
